Curved, L-shape, U-shape and LED-wall frames
When the touch surface is not a flat 16:9 rectangle. Retail displays, museum interactives, LED video walls and architectural installations — built as a frame first and a product second.
Project price including engineering, machining and the first sample. Radius, segment count and controller channel count move the number; send a drawing for a firm quote.

Every non-rectangular frame starts at the corner
An arc or an L is a set of straight extrusions cut at angles and joined with machined blocks. The joint is where accuracy is won or lost: a 0.3 mm step at the corner shows up as a dead band on the touch surface, so corners are milled, not bent.
Four shapes we build regularly
Curved (convex / concave)
Segmented aluminium chord frame following a fixed radius, from 1,200 mm upward. Used on curved signage, cockpit-style consoles and wrap-around retail displays. Each segment carries its own LED chain and the controller interpolates across the joints.
L-shape and U-shape
Two or three flat faces on one controller. Common in corner kiosks, control desks and exhibition walls where two people interact from different sides. Software can see one surface or independent regions.
LED wall / video wall
Built to the LED module grid instead of a panel. No glass, no LCD — beams cross open air, so the frame carries its own mounting rail and the LED power budget is calculated per install.
Projection and interactive surface
A frame around a projected image rather than a display. Used in museums, showrooms and education. The frame is calibrated to the projector's throw, so we need the projected area, not the screen diagonal.
Curved touch frame, LED touch frame, or just a custom touch frame
Three labels, one order process. A curved touch frame is a segmented chord frame on a fixed radius. An LED touch frame is built to the LED module grid rather than a glass panel, so the beams cross open air and the frame carries its own mounting rail. Anything that is neither a flat rectangle nor one of those two gets filed as a custom touch frame, and that is fine — the drawing is what we work from, not the name.
All three run on the same extrusion and the same controller family as the standard range, so a curved build is not a new product line. It is a different cut list, more joints and more engineering hours, which is why pricing is per project rather than per size. Flat custom frames → · Terminology →
What we will tell you not to do
A curved frame is an engineering project, not a catalogue item. These are the four cases where we push back.
Curved and LED frame questions
How does touch work on a curved surface?
Can you build an L-shape or U-shape frame?
What is different about an LED-wall frame?
What is the lead time and MOQ?
Send a drawing of the shape, not the size.
For a curved or LED frame the drawing matters more than the diagonal. A dimensioned sketch of the surface, the radius and the mounting plane is enough to quote.
