Infrared touch frames, 15" to 400"
Ten-point multi-touch that still works with gloves, a stylus and a wet finger. 23 sizes on the shelf from 15.6 to 110 inch, everything else built to your drawing — including arc, L-shape and LED-wall frames.
Indicative FOB Shenzhen for 1–50 pcs, frame only. Glass and volume pricing quoted per project.

Four extrusions, four corners, one controller
An infrared frame is a picture frame full of light: LEDs on two sides, photodiodes on the other two, and a controller that works out where the beams break. Nothing sits in front of your LCD, so the glass can be 4 mm thick, work through gloves, and keep working after the surface is scratched.
Light beams, not a coated surface
An infrared frame puts a row of LEDs and photodiodes around the edge of the screen. When your finger breaks the beam, the controller calculates where. There is no transparent conductive layer in front of the LCD, which is why the glass can be 4 mm thick, why it works through gloves, and why a scratched surface does not kill the touch.
- Any front material: tempered glass, polycarbonate, acrylic
- Works with gloves, stylus, pen and wet fingers
- Cost per square metre falls as the screen gets bigger
- Field-serviceable — LEDs and controller are replaceable individually
The trade-off is bezel height. An IR frame sits above the glass by 9.5 mm, so it will not give you a flush front face. If your product needs flush glass, look at capacitive panels instead.
23 sizes held in stock
These are the diagonals where tooling, LED tubes and controllers are always available — including the 5:4 and 16:10 formats most suppliers treat as custom. Prices are for the frame alone, FOB Shenzhen, 1–50 pcs.

Three ways to buy an infrared frame
Standard Sizes 15.6"–110"
23 sizes held with tooling and LED tubes in stock, including 5:4 and 16:10. Ships in 3–7 days, quantity to 500 pcs.
Custom Size 15"–400"
Any diagonal, any aspect ratio, any bezel width. Built to your drawing with a 5–7 day sample.
Curved & LED Frames
Arc, L-shape, U-shape and LED-wall frames where the touch surface is not a flat 16:9 rectangle.
Standard size, large format, custom — and what “kit” means
The table above is the standard range, 15.6 to 110 inch, held as stock. Everything else is one of three other things, and buyers tend to use a different name for each.
Large touch frame. From 86 inch up we call it large format: the extrusion section is the same, but the frame ships knocked down as four lengths and four corner blocks, because a 2.5 m rectangle does not survive road freight assembled. Above 200 inch the aluminium is spliced as well — the touch surface stays continuous, only the metal is joined. These are the sizes ordered for interactive walls, command boards and 98 / 110 inch flat panels.
Custom touch frame. Any diagonal from 15 to 400 inch, any aspect ratio, including the 5:4 and 16:10 formats most suppliers refuse. There is no tooling charge: the profile is extruded in bulk and cut to your length, so a 37 inch or a 43.6 inch frame costs the same per metre as a catalogue size. Custom size frames →
Infrared touch frame kit. What actually ships is a kit, whatever the invoice calls it: four extrusions, four cast corners, one controller board, a 1.8 m USB cable and four mounting brackets. Glass is a separate line, because most builders already have a front sheet in their housing.
Frame, screen, overlay, panel. Four names for the same assembly. A touch screen frame and an infrared touch screen differ only in whether an LCD is included; an IR overlay is the same part described by what it does to an existing display; an infrared touch panel is what a drawing usually calls it. We build one thing, and you can order it under any of those names. Terminology list →
