11.6 inch capacitive touch panel
11.6 inch panels mostly go into POS terminals and in-vehicle consoles, where the wider 16:9 active area leaves room for a status bar in the UI.
FOB Shenzhen, G+G panel with controller and 1.8 m USB cable, 1–50 pcs. Custom coating, glass thickness and printed border quoted on drawing.

How the 11.6 inch leaves the line
Glass bonded to sensor, FPC bonded to the tail, then touched at the centre and all four corners before vacuum packing. The printed border on this size is 9 mm, which is what you have to leave free in the housing.
- OD 275 × 162 mm · VA 257 × 144 mm · border 9 mm
- 6 H glass, 10-point, USB / I2C / RS232 controller included
- 366 pcs in stock
FPC tail. The tail can leave on any of the four sides, same-side or opposite-side contact, without changing the outline.
Cable and tail. 1.8 m USB cable as standard. I2C, RS232 and longer tails are the same price, specified at the drawing stage.
Three numbers, not one
Unlike an infrared frame, a capacitive panel is defined by three dimensions. The OD is the outside of the glass and is what your housing is cut to. The VA is the visible area your UI is designed against. The sensor is the ITO pattern inside the printed border.

| Active area (VA) | 257 × 144 mm |

Typical builds at this size: pos terminal, in-vehicle console, ticket machine.

What happens after the carton is open
A capacitive panel needs no calibration — the sensor is bonded to the glass, so the coordinates are geometry rather than measurement. What it does need is the right settings for your glass stack, and a bonding process that does not trap air.
Plug and play over USB
Windows, Android, Linux and ChromeOS pick it up as a HID touch digitizer with nothing installed. I2C and RS232 versions available for boards without a USB host.
Firmware tuned to your stack
Threshold, report rate, edge suppression and ESD level are set for the cover glass you specify — then shipped as a settings file you can clone across a batch.
Bonding and install guidance
OCA versus tape versus air gap, FPC bend radius, shield grounding under 4 Ω. We will join the first bonding run by video if it is your first one.
11.6 inch panel questions

The names this part travels under
On a specification you will also meet PCAP and projected capacitive touch panel, which describe the sensing method rather than the part: a grid of ITO electrodes projected through the cover glass. Every panel on this site is projected capacitive, so the two terms are not a different product line — they are a more precise name for the one you are looking at.
