12.1 inch capacitive touch panel
12.1 inch is a workhorse for industrial panel PCs. The 16:10 active area matches the LCDs that industrial PC builders already stock.
FOB Shenzhen, G+G panel with controller and 1.8 m USB cable, 1–50 pcs. Custom coating, glass thickness and printed border quoted on drawing.

12.1 inch panel, G+G or G+FF
OD 279 × 181 mm, active area 261 × 163 mm, printed border 9 mm. The controller is bonded and tested against this exact panel before packing, so the pair arrives calibrated rather than needing a setup step at your line.
- OD 279 × 181 mm · VA 261 × 163 mm · border 9 mm
- 6 H glass, 10-point, USB / I2C / RS232 controller included
- 448 pcs in stock
Controller included. Every panel ships with a matched controller, flashed and tested against that panel — not a generic board.
FPC tail. The tail can leave on any of the four sides, same-side or opposite-side contact, without changing the outline.
Three numbers, not one
Unlike an infrared frame, a capacitive panel is defined by three dimensions. The OD is the outside of the glass and is what your housing is cut to. The VA is the visible area your UI is designed against. The sensor is the ITO pattern inside the printed border.

| Active area (VA) | 261 × 163 mm |

Typical builds at this size: industrial panel pc, machine control, weighing terminal.

What happens after the carton is open
A capacitive panel needs no calibration — the sensor is bonded to the glass, so the coordinates are geometry rather than measurement. What it does need is the right settings for your glass stack, and a bonding process that does not trap air.
Plug and play over USB
Windows, Android, Linux and ChromeOS pick it up as a HID touch digitizer with nothing installed. I2C and RS232 versions available for boards without a USB host.
Firmware tuned to your stack
Threshold, report rate, edge suppression and ESD level are set for the cover glass you specify — then shipped as a settings file you can clone across a batch.
Bonding and install guidance
OCA versus tape versus air gap, FPC bend radius, shield grounding under 4 Ω. We will join the first bonding run by video if it is your first one.
12.1 inch panel questions
What are the OD, VA and sensor sizes of the 12.1 inch panel?
Can I change the cover glass thickness?
Is a controller and cable included?
What is the lead time?
Where is a panel this size normally used?
Reading a capacitive drawing without guessing
When the outline is not standard, the enquiry usually says custom capacitive touch panel or capacitive touch screen custom size. That is the normal way to order: send the outline, the active area, or the glass you already buy, and the sensor and tail are re-laid to match. Tooling is a drawing and a sample, not a mould.
