15.6 inch capacitive touch panel
15.6 inch is the widest-selling panel size overall. Self-service terminals and interactive tables both use it, and the FPC can exit on any of the four sides.
FOB Shenzhen, G+G panel with controller and 1.8 m USB cable, 1–50 pcs. Custom coating, glass thickness and printed border quoted on drawing.

15.6 inch panel, G+G or G+FF
OD 365 × 214 mm, active area 345 × 194 mm, printed border 10 mm. The controller is bonded and tested against this exact panel before packing, so the pair arrives calibrated rather than needing a setup step at your line.
- OD 365 × 214 mm · VA 345 × 194 mm · border 10 mm
- 6 H glass, 10-point, USB / I2C / RS232 controller included
- 478 pcs in stock
Controller included. Every panel ships with a matched controller, flashed and tested against that panel — not a generic board.
FPC tail. The tail can leave on any of the four sides, same-side or opposite-side contact, without changing the outline.
Three numbers, not one
Unlike an infrared frame, a capacitive panel is defined by three dimensions. The OD is the outside of the glass and is what your housing is cut to. The VA is the visible area your UI is designed against. The sensor is the ITO pattern inside the printed border.
| Outline (OD) | 365 × 214 mm |
| Active area (VA) | 345 × 194 mm |
| Sensor | 357 × 206 mm |
| Printed border | 10 mm typical, 6 mm minimum |

What happens after the carton is open
A capacitive panel needs no calibration — the sensor is bonded to the glass, so the coordinates are geometry rather than measurement. What it does need is the right settings for your glass stack, and a bonding process that does not trap air.
Plug and play over USB
Windows, Android, Linux and ChromeOS pick it up as a HID touch digitizer with nothing installed. I2C and RS232 versions available for boards without a USB host.
Firmware tuned to your stack
Threshold, report rate, edge suppression and ESD level are set for the cover glass you specify — then shipped as a settings file you can clone across a batch.
Bonding and install guidance
OCA versus tape versus air gap, FPC bend radius, shield grounding under 4 Ω. We will join the first bonding run by video if it is your first one.
15.6 inch panel questions
What are the OD, VA and sensor sizes of the 15.6 inch panel?
Can I change the cover glass thickness?
Is a controller and cable included?
What is the lead time?
Can you build this as a custom capacitive touch panel?
What the abbreviations on your BOM actually mean
Strictly, a capacitive touch screen is the finished front face of a device, and a capacitive touch panel is the sensing sandwich inside it. In practice the trade uses them interchangeably, and buyers who write “capacitive touch screen 21.5 inch” are almost always asking for this panel. If you need the LCD bonded on as well, say so and we quote the module instead.
