21.5 inch capacitive touch panel
21.5 inch is our highest-volume capacitive size. Self-order kiosks, digital signage and queue terminals all use it, and controller stock is never an issue.
FOB Shenzhen, G+G panel with controller and 1.8 m USB cable, 1–50 pcs. Custom coating, glass thickness and printed border quoted on drawing.

21.5 inch panel, G+G or G+FF
OD 498 × 290 mm, active area 476 × 268 mm, printed border 11 mm. The controller is bonded and tested against this exact panel before packing, so the pair arrives calibrated rather than needing a setup step at your line.
- OD 498 × 290 mm · VA 476 × 268 mm · border 11 mm
- 6 H glass, 10-point, USB / I2C / RS232 controller included
- 496 pcs in stock
Controller included. Every panel ships with a matched controller, flashed and tested against that panel — not a generic board.
FPC tail. The tail can leave on any of the four sides, same-side or opposite-side contact, without changing the outline.
Three numbers, not one
Unlike an infrared frame, a capacitive panel is defined by three dimensions. The OD is the outside of the glass and is what your housing is cut to. The VA is the visible area your UI is designed against. The sensor is the ITO pattern inside the printed border.
| Outline (OD) | 498 × 290 mm |
| Active area (VA) | 476 × 268 mm |
| Sensor | 490 × 282 mm |
| Printed border | 11 mm typical, 6 mm minimum |
Typical builds at this size: self-order kiosk, queue terminal, digital signage.

What happens after the carton is open
A capacitive panel needs no calibration — the sensor is bonded to the glass, so the coordinates are geometry rather than measurement. What it does need is the right settings for your glass stack, and a bonding process that does not trap air.
Plug and play over USB
Windows, Android, Linux and ChromeOS pick it up as a HID touch digitizer with nothing installed. I2C and RS232 versions available for boards without a USB host.
Firmware tuned to your stack
Threshold, report rate, edge suppression and ESD level are set for the cover glass you specify — then shipped as a settings file you can clone across a batch.
Bonding and install guidance
OCA versus tape versus air gap, FPC bend radius, shield grounding under 4 Ω. We will join the first bonding run by video if it is your first one.
21.5 inch panel questions
What are the OD, VA and sensor sizes of the 21.5 inch panel?
Can I change the cover glass thickness?
Is a controller and cable included?
What is the lead time?
Our BOM says capacitive touch TP - is that the same part?
Capacitive touch screen, capacitive touch TP, or panel
The stack-up wording matters more than the product name. G+G is glass sensor plus glass cover, G+FF is film sensor plus film, and G+F is glass plus one film. Same part number format, different thickness, cost and durability — the difference is spelled out in the stack-up guide.
