23.8 inch infrared touch frame
23.8 inch matches the panel used in most self-checkout lanes and 24 inch monitors. If your housing is already cut for a 23.8 inch LCD, the frame drops in with no re-machining — which is the whole reason this size outsells 24 inch.
FOB Shenzhen, frame only, 1–50 pcs. Add $26 for 3 mm tempered glass. Volume tiers quoted on request.

Inside the 23.8 inch frame
553 × 326 mm outside with a 13 mm side bezel and a 19 mm bottom rail. This is the same extrusion profile we run from 32 to 110 inch — the cut length changes, the section does not, so the frame in the photo is what arrives at every size in the range.
- 553 × 326 mm outer, 527 × 296 mm active area
- 2–40 touch points, USB HID, no driver for Windows, Android or Linux
- 452 pcs in stock, leaves in 3–7 days
Packing. One frame per cardboard tube with foam ends. Crates start at 98 inch, where a tube stops being practical.
Corner joint. Cast corner block pinned into the extrusion — this is what keeps an 86 inch frame flat instead of bowing in the middle.
What the 23.8 inch frame fits
The active area is 527 × 296 mm — a standard 23.8 inch 16:9 panel. The frame adds 13 mm on three sides and 19 mm at the bottom, which is where the controller PCB and USB cable sit.
- Outer frame: 553 × 326 mm, 9.5 mm deep
- Housing cut-out: leave 557 × 330 mm plus 3 mm clearance for the cable
- Glass clearance: up to 5 mm thick; 8 mm with the wide-gap version
- Mounting: front-flush with M3 inserts, or side brackets
Typical builds at this size: self-checkout lane, monitor retrofit, kiosk.
23.8 inch frame — options and unit price
Indicative FOB Shenzhen prices at 10-point configuration. Higher touch counts add controller cost, not sensor cost, so the jump is smaller than most buyers expect.

What happens after the carton is open
A frame is not finished hardware until it is calibrated against the display it sits on. Three things ship with this size to get you there, and none of them are extras.
No driver, on any system
USB HID digitizer. Windows 10/11, Android, Linux and ChromeOS enumerate it without installing anything. macOS reports single point only — worth knowing before you commit.
Calibration tool and profile
Windows and Linux builds, 4/9/25-point runs, written to the controller so it survives a power cycle. Stuck? A ten-minute remote session with our engineer calibrates it with you.
Installation sheet for this size
Clearance, 0.5 N·m torque, ground under 4 Ω, 3 m passive USB limit — plus the symptom table that covers most first-install problems.

23.8 inch frame questions
What is the outer size of a 23.8 inch frame?
Can I get this size with a different bezel?
How many units of the 23.8 inch frame fit in a carton?
Do you supply the tempered glass with the frame?
Can this be used as a touch overlay on a display I already own?
One rectangle, four names on the paperwork
The distinction people trip over is frame versus screen. A touch screen frame is the sensor ring only; an infrared touch screen is that ring plus an LCD behind it. We build the first and leave the panel choice to you, which is why a 55 inch unit costs a fraction of a finished touch monitor. Send the drawing with either title and the quote comes back the same.
If the screen already exists, this is the part that converts it. Clamp the frame around the TV or monitor bezel, plug the USB in, and the display reports as a touchscreen without anything being opened. Sizes above 110 inch ship knocked down because a 2.5 m rectangle is a freight problem, not a manufacturing one.
If your enquiry uses a name not listed here, send it anyway — a photo of the old part or the housing opening settles it faster than any glossary. Full terminology list →
