23.6 inch infrared touch frame
23.6 inch is the cheapest route to a 24 inch class touch surface, because the LCD behind it is a commodity monitor size. Builders choose it for signage and gaming cabinets where cost per square metre matters more than the last 0.2 inch.
FOB Shenzhen, frame only, 1–50 pcs. Add $24 for 3 mm tempered glass. Volume tiers quoted on request.

What is in the 23.6 inch box
One frame at 548 × 324 mm, one controller board, a 1.8 m USB cable and four mounting brackets. Glass is separate — add it only if your housing does not already carry a front sheet.
- 548 × 324 mm outer, 522 × 294 mm active area
- 2–40 touch points, USB HID, no driver for Windows, Android or Linux
- 402 pcs in stock, leaves in 3–7 days
Ships knocked down. Four extrusions and four corners in one tube. Flat-packed freight runs about a third cheaper than a crated assembled frame.
Spare LED tubes. Tubes and filter strips are stocked for every size listed, so a dead emitter is a part swap rather than a new frame.
What the 23.6 inch frame fits
The active area is 522 × 294 mm — a standard 23.6 inch 16:9 panel. The frame adds 13 mm on three sides and 19 mm at the bottom, which is where the controller PCB and USB cable sit.
- Outer frame: 548 × 324 mm, 9.5 mm deep
- Housing cut-out: leave 552 × 328 mm plus 3 mm clearance for the cable
- Glass clearance: up to 5 mm thick; 8 mm with the wide-gap version
- Mounting: front-flush with M3 inserts, or side brackets
Typical builds at this size: signage panel, gaming cabinet, retail display.
23.6 inch frame — options and unit price
Indicative FOB Shenzhen prices at 10-point configuration. Higher touch counts add controller cost, not sensor cost, so the jump is smaller than most buyers expect.

What happens after the carton is open
A frame is not finished hardware until it is calibrated against the display it sits on. Three things ship with this size to get you there, and none of them are extras.
No driver, on any system
USB HID digitizer. Windows 10/11, Android, Linux and ChromeOS enumerate it without installing anything. macOS reports single point only — worth knowing before you commit.
Calibration tool and profile
Windows and Linux builds, 4/9/25-point runs, written to the controller so it survives a power cycle. Stuck? A ten-minute remote session with our engineer calibrates it with you.
Installation sheet for this size
Clearance, 0.5 N·m torque, ground under 4 Ω, 3 m passive USB limit — plus the symptom table that covers most first-install problems.

Also quoted as an IR touch frame, a touch screen or an overlay
Ask ten buyers for this part and you get four different names for it: infrared touch frame, IR touch frame, infrared touch screen and touch overlay. Nothing changes in the box. It is an aluminium rectangle with LEDs down two sides, photodiodes down the other two, and a controller board in the bottom rail. If your drawing is titled “IR touch screen” but your housing already carries the glass, you still need the frame and not a display — we quote it either way.
Half of these frames never go into a new machine at all. They go onto a TV or a monitor that is already on the wall, and the buyer wants a finger to work on it. Same extrusion, same controller, ordered with a longer cable — the overlay guide covers the fit.
If your enquiry uses a name not listed here, send it anyway — a photo of the old part or the housing opening settles it faster than any glossary. Full terminology list →
